Magical garden lighting up screen and plants

Curvaceous Contemporary Colour; rolling curves lead you past flowing and colourful herbaceous borders, a crunchy gravel maze made with unusual plants, an apple pod day-bed and an eye-shaped Ipe deck made for relaxing and viewing the glorious countryside, which is blended into the garden with a pictorial meadow. A statuesque cedar pergola leads back to the house, clothed with fragrant climbers. Unique hand-quarried stone is laid to a curvaceous patio shape, interrupted by crunchy gold flint gravel, for the pleasure of a change in texture and feel underfoot

Garden Issues

The (inherited) garden was stiff and formal, quite unlike the clients or their tastes.

The paving was harlequin pink and grey, only suited to a modern 'tongue in cheek' style...

The field at the end has rabbits, sheep and cattle in it so any new fence needed to be very robust and rabbit-proof...
